About me

Erica Carleton

I’m an Associate Professor of Leadership and the Associate Dean of Faculty and Research at the Hill and Levene Schools of Business, University of Regina.

It’s great to meet you. I’m a Regina-based professor, researcher, speaker, and trainer who’s passionate about helping people and organizations thrive.

A lifelong learner, I earned my PhD in Organizational Behaviour from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University in 2015, following earlier studies at Saint Mary’s University (Halifax) and the University of Regina.

My research explores the health and well-being of leaders and how leadership behaviour shapes the experiences and performance of employees. More recently, I’ve focused on understanding how women navigate the challenges of getting—and staying—at the top of organizations.

Beyond academia, I’m a speaker and facilitator who enjoys sharing research-backed insights in accessible, engaging ways. I’ve delivered talks and training sessions for not-for-profit and corporate audiences across Saskatchewan, helping leaders strengthen their well-being, emotional intelligence, and workplace culture.

If you’d like to connect, please visit my contact page — I’d love to hear from you.
